Real-time call translation you can read

Follow a call in another language with live translated text on your Android phone.

TalkSage transcribes speech as the call happens and shows the original words beside a translation in your chosen language. You can follow a family conversation, check details from a supplier or read unfamiliar words again after the call.

How live translation works

  1. Install TalkSage and its free Helper, then choose your display language.
  2. Start or answer a supported phone or VoIP call.
  3. Read the original speech and translated captions together in the live view.
  4. After the call, revisit the transcript and check important details against the recording.

TalkSage supports dozens of languages, including Persian, Arabic, Turkish, Spanish and Chinese. Right-to-left text is displayed in its reading direction. The translation appears as text on your screen; TalkSage does not speak a translated voice to the other person.

Phone calls, WhatsApp and more

The Helper detects ordinary phone calls and calling apps including WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal and Viber. TalkSage can also record and translate in-person conversations through the microphone. See the live call transcription features.

What to check before an important call

Speech recognition and translation can make mistakes, especially with names, numbers and dates. Check those details with the other person or replay the recording. Phone audio capture varies by device; Bluetooth calls may not be captured, and some phones require speakerphone for both sides. Read the compatibility and troubleshooting answers.

Recordings and transcripts are encrypted on your phone. Audio is sent to a speech-recognition provider during transcription and translated text is sent to a translation provider. See where your data goes.
